CARMEN ELENA TRIGUEROS (1963)
Lives and works in El Salvador.
Her works are mostly pictorial with a touch of nostalgia and retro, however, there’s a perverse charge in dogmas and violence.
She studied painting for 7 years with artist Victor Manuel Rodriguez Preza. In her career she has gotten several recognitions: 1st. price in free category at Biennial Arte Paiz, 2003, El Salvador; 2nd. place at Biennial Arte Paiz, 2005, El Salvador; Selected artist of the V Central America Biennial of Visual Arts, 2006.
