February is the month of love, but also the month of art in Mexico, in the shape of one of the most popular and successful art fairs in Latin America, Zona Maco. The varied selection is divided between Contemporary Art Galleries, Design, Antiquities, and Photography. Among the galleries exhibiting, the public will be able to find big names like Gagosian, Marian Goodman, Sean Kelly, Pace Gallery and David Zwirner from New York; kurimanzutto, House of Gaga, Parque Galería, OMR, Proyectosmonclova from Mexico City and more. Among the ranks is Galería Enrique Guerrero from Mexico City and this year the gallery will be showing the work of Guatemalan artist Franco Arocha, one of Scoop Art’s artists, whose chromatic and subtle compositions will hang among an array of talented artists.
